Whew! 32 weeks already?! What a week we’ve had! We’ve made more progress in the nursery, and since tomorrow is labor day I have some extra time to get started on chalk painting the furniture! My sisters and sister-in-law hosted the nicest baby shower for me yesterday, and I’m feeling so much more prepared now. It’s so nice to have all our baby gear ready to go!
How Far Along: 32 weeks
Gender:
Baby girl! I keep having this reoccuring fear that the ultrasound was wrong (remember how I was SOOO sure that we were having a boy?). We will be so happy either way, but we have started quite the collection of pink clothes, blankets, etc, so I hope if it is a boy he’s okay with getting in touch with his feminine side 🙂
Weight Gain:
19 pounds. That number hit me a little bit harder this week, mainly because my goal was to not go much over 25 pounds total, and I know it’s pretty easy to tack on extra weight after 32 weeks. But, I’m super thankful for a healthy, growing babe, and I will just do my best these last few weeks to not get too out of hand!
Maternity Clothes:
I put on a pair of non maternity pants. It didn’t go well…. Needless to say, I think I’m almost to a point of robbing A.J.’s closet. I’m so burned out with my maternity clothes, but I’m just too close to the end to invest in anymore!
Sleep:
Hit or miss still! Some nights are better than others. I’ve recently started doing Miracle Morning, and it’s been good practice for when we have a newborn waking us up in the early morning hours. Plus, I’m really enjoying having an hour to myself every day, because I know those days are numbered too!
Movement:
So much movement lately! But no complaints from me! I absolutely love feeling her move around, even if it is 3:00 in the morning 🙂
Cravings:
I think I might be past the craving part of pregnancy. My eating schedule has changed a little bit now that we’ve hit 32 weeks, because I’ve noticed that I get full super fast, and then I’m hungry an hour later. Peanut butter toast has been one of my favorites between meals, and helps keep me full a little longer than a few crackers or a banana.
Queasy or Sick: Nothing!
Have You Started To Show Yet:
I feel like I should almost take this question out (because, hello, it’s pretty obvious), but I still have people ask me every week if I’m expecting. I can no longer see my toes, and it feels like my skin is stretched to the max!
Belly Button In or Out?
Out!
Looking Forward To:
We have another appointment this week, and I always look forward to hearing this little girl’s heartbeat. Also, I think we are narrowing our name list down (we had a name, and now we’re second guessing ourselves), so looking forward to having a name to call Baby Girl!
