I’m late. 2 days late. BUT, this is the first time in the 10 months since I’ve started doing this that I’ve missed the mark, so I’m calling that a WIN. Just wait to see how unorganized I’ll be with Baby #2 (NOT an announcement ;).
I was scrolling through the past pictures and thought this was a good time to do a collage. I CANNOT believe how much Addison has grown and changed over the last 10 months!
GROWTH
I weighed Addison at home on our scale the other day and she weighed exactly 18 pounds. Definitely not breaking any records on the charts, but not underweight either. I have no idea how tall she is, but she is definitely long and lean.
EAT
Addison drinks her milk like a champ! We were stuck at 5-6 ounces bottles since she was 5 months old, and this past month she has started drinking 8-10 ounces in the morning and at night before bed. She eats absolutely EVERYTHING. She has yet to spit out any food we have given her, and she tries everything we are eating. Her favorites this month were avocados, PB & J wings at Mad Meatball, Daddy’s favorite hashbrown casserole, and peas!
CLOTHES
The HUGE sleepers I ordered last month now fit my baby like a glove :(. I ordered a few fall outfits on Carter’s blowout sale a few weeks ago, and while I’m super sad she is growing out of her old clothes, we definitely are looking forward to trying out our new outfits! I’ve started watching for cute Christmas dresses and I’m so looking forward to dressing Addi for all the Holidays that are coming up (especially Halloween)!
PLAY & DEVELOPMENT
Addi started moving last month and hasn’t stopped yet. She is so good at pulling herself up to walk alongside the furniture, and her latest trick is standing up in her crib and banging on the railing until we come and get her out. She still sleeps in our room in her crib, but I’m afraid the transition to her room will be coming soon (per Daddy’s request, not Mom’s). We cut our 2 top teeth this month, so we officially up to 6 teeth and the fangs are on their way out. Addison loves going for stroller rides down to the creek, swinging at the park, and all things music! She is quite the little dancer, and music always cheers her up.
