9 months. 3/4 of a year. I’m still in disbelief of how fast the last nine months have flown by. So much has happened this month- from crawling to 4 teeth to a new baby cousin (who makes Addi look giant!). Addison Claire has flipped our world upside down and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
GROWTH
Addison had her well baby check today and is 17 lbs 5 oz and 27 1/2 inches long. We’re still in the 25th percentile for weight and the 50th percentile for height. Her head circumference is in the 95th percentile, so I’m thinking that means she’s going to be a genius or need a helmet ;).
EAT
Our sweet friend gave us 750 oz of breast milk when our last supply ran out, so we are still going strong with that! Addi gets people food whenever she is with us (we just do milk at daycare), and loves EVERYTHING! The pediatrician told me yesterday that we could introduce juice when we are ready, but I think we might wait a few more weeks before we do that. We tried water the other day and she wasn’t sure about it. She LOVES scrambled eggs, toast, muffins, Pizza Ranch cheese sticks, green beans, corn, carrots (cooked and raw), peas (her favorite!), and meat!
CLOTHES
6 month clothes are a thing of the past, and we have moved on to 9 month and 9-12 month clothes. I ordered some new sleepers the other day so we are stocked up when she’s ready and they look HUGE! I could just cry when I look at our newborn clothes… That seems so so long ago!
PLAY & DEVELOPMENT
We have a mover! Addi started really making progress last week with scooting and then all of a sudden she crawled across the living room! She is also pulling herself up (especially in the crib), and is taking 10-15 steps when we hold her hands. She gets so excited that she’s “walking” that she falls down. Addi also had her 2 top eye teeth come in this month, and that was a bugger! We had about a week of no sleep and runny nose, but we are over the hump and I’m convinced the rest of her teeth will be easier. In the meantime, she’s rocking some pretty sweet fangs ;). Addi and Charlie have been bonding so so much this last month too. Charlie is realizing she’s finally fun and not just a bully pulling his hair, and Addi is so entertained when he runs through the house or shakes his toys. I can’t wait to see them grow up together!

- 1st time crawling!
- 1st top tooth (2 fangs 🙂 )
- 1st time meeting our new cousin Holden
- 1st time fishing on the boat
- 1st 4th of July
- 1st county fair (still in progress so more pictures to come!)
- 1st time pulling herself up
- 1st time sleeping in moms bed all night (she was teething, I needed cuddles, we all won).
- 1st sleepover! (Addi actually had 3 sleepovers this month, Grandma Gail’s, Aunt Bridget’s, and Grandma Rhonda’s house! We’re so lucky to have family close by to help out when we’re gone.)
