GROWTH
We’re on the slow and steady track for weight- topping the scales at 15 lb 10 oz. We don’t seem to be getting a whole lot taller either, and are stuck right at about 25 inches. Our pediatrician assured me she’s perfect and growing at her own speed, which probably means we have another stubborn one on our hands.
EATING
Little missy refuses to eat anymore than 4 oz during a sitting. She is a super efficient nurser and only eats for about 5-7 minutes every 3 hours or so. Our little cousin Ingrid is 3 months younger and going to pass us up in size at this rate. We just started people food this month, and have tried bananas, green beans, and ice cream so far. The ice cream was definitely Dad’s idea!
CLOTHES
We’re sticking in our 3-6 month clothes, but all our 3 month clothes are boxed up and the 6 month clothes have made their way to the drawers. I’ll never get tired of dressing baby girls- their clothes are so much fun!
PLAY & DEVELOPMENT
Alivia does such a good job with sitting up unassisted- so good that she hardly ever lays down, which means we still haven’t practiced rolling over a whole lot more than we did last month. Honestly, to date I’m pretty sure she’s only rolled over twice. But she will sit and play with her toys all day long without being propped up. Still no teeth, but with the amount of drool I feel like we have to be getting close! We love to squeal, blow bubbles, and play in the bath tub!
