GROWTH
We took a little jump in weight this month and now weigh 16 lb 10 oz. Apparently we’re on the pound a month plan. I’m not sure where we are on height because little miss is squirmy 😉
EATING
Not much has changed as far as breastfeeding/bottles go (4 oz bottles every 3 hours at daycare and breastfeeding every 2 1/2-3 hours when she’s with me), but we have been trying more and more foods. We still haven’t had any teeth pop through (AJ jokes that I have been saying she’s been teething for 3 months now), but I really do think we are close. We can’t go without a bandana bib during the day because the drool is out of control! And she chews on everything in sight. Every time we sit down for a meal she watches every bite go to our mouths until we give her a little taste.
CLOTHES
6 month clothes seem to be sticking around for a while and that’s just fine with me. In the beginning it seemed like we were flying through sizes and I was sorting clothes every week. And you all know how much I love sorting kids clothes (NOT!).
PLAY & DEVELOPMENT
We still love sitting up and not rolling over. We love talking and can now say “Mama”, “Dada”, and “Baba”. We’re getting a little more ambitious and will put some weight on our little legs now too (she was the LAZIEST when it came to this in the past- she would literally go limp when we tried to make her stand). Alivia loves her pop-n-jump activity center and I love that I can get something done during her awake time (which is more often than not, we only take a couple of cat naps during the day usually). Sleeping at night is fairly inconsistent too- sometimes we can get a 9 hour stretch from 9-5, and other times we wake up at 1 and 4 to eat. It’s not awful though, because she eats and goes right back to sleep.
